Directors Bio
Mr.
Tom Miles is an Abilene resident. He is a retired high school
band director and a former conductor of the Abilene Municipal Band.
He has been a member and guest conductor of the Junction City
Community Band the past four years.
He is the personnel manager of the Heart of America Band and has
music degrees from the University of Kansas and Kent State University.
Tom became conductor of the Salina Municipal Band in the Summer of 2017.

Rehearsal Schedule
The Salina Municipal Band holds rehearsals on Monday evenings during the Summer (Tuesday on the week of Memorial Day).
Please note rehearsal location, it will be Friendship Center again this year.
